Telemedicine
Convenient Care Wherever You Are
Sometimes getting to the office isn’t the most convenient option
Azum Medical Telemedicine allows eligible established patients to connect with their physician virtually for certain follow-up visits and medical concerns from the convenience of home, work, or another private location.
Telemedicine combines convenience with the continuity of receiving care from a medical team that already knows your health history.

Telemedicine can make certain follow-up care easier to access without requiring a trip to the office.
For eligible established patients, virtual visits can provide a convenient way to discuss ongoing health concerns, medications, treatment plans, and certain symptoms with a provider familiar with your care.
Telemedicine May Be Appropriate For:
Virtual care may be appropriate for certain medical concerns that do not require an in-person physical examination.
Follow-up of certain chronic conditions
Medication follow-up
Review and discussion of certain laboratory results
Selected minor illnesses or symptoms
Mental-health follow-up
Weight-management follow-up
Certain ongoing treatment-plan discussions
Other concerns that do not require a hands-on physical examination
How Telemedicine Works
Schedule Your Visit
Contact Azum Medical or use our available scheduling options to request a virtual appointment.
Connect Securely
At your scheduled appointment time, connect through the designated telemedicine platform from a quiet, private location.
Meet With Your Provider
Discuss your symptoms, progress, medications, questions, or treatment plan just as you would during an appropriate office follow-up.
Receive Your Next Steps
Depending on the visit, next steps may include medication management, laboratory testing, follow-up recommendations, referral, or an in-person examination.
When Is an In-Person Visit Necessary?
Telemedicine cannot replace every type of medical evaluation. An office visit may be recommended when your concern requires hands-on assessment, testing, or treatment that cannot be performed virtually.
- A hands-on physical examination
- Vital-sign assessment
- In-office testing
- Evaluation of certain new or worsening symptoms
- Procedures or treatments that cannot be performed virtually
If an in-person evaluation is clinically necessary, our team will guide you toward the appropriate next step.
Establish Care In Person First.
At this time, Azum Medical does not offer new-patient visits through telemedicine. New patients should establish care through an in-person appointment before utilizing eligible virtual follow-up services.
Insurance & Self-Pay
Telemedicine may be available through participating insurance plans or through Azum Medical’s self-pay options.
Insurance benefits and coverage vary by individual plan. Patients are responsible for confirming applicable telemedicine benefits, copayments, deductibles, and other cost-sharing requirements.
